Joplin is where I landed, as well as hosting my own Joplin Server.

If Obsidian allowed a free self hosted option, I would have picked it over Joplin. (Yes, I tried the free plugin, but it at times wouldn’t sync correctly and I would end up losing notes.)

You can create Check marks by using markdown inside the note.

- [ ] TEXTHERE this should provide a blank Check Box.

- [ x ] TXETHERE this should provide a ticked Check Box.

I’m curious as well, I stopped taking it everyday because of the shortage, I’ve got a small backlog but would like to start taking it everyday again.
