I really like having separation of duties between my main laptop and my home servers. I’m constantly screwing around with my laptop and I really don’t want eg a laptop reboot to screw up my phones ability to resolve DNS.

My home servers sit in the garage and rarely get touched unless I’m doing some serious maintenance.

The proximity of that syrup to the laptop is killing me

Heh they eat duck food :) We were feeding them “All Flock Crumbles” for a while, but my wife recently switched them to something that they like better - not sure what it is, but it’s some kind of similar pellet-ish food. They love meal worms for a treat, and will go absolutely bonkers for frozen peas.

Over all they’re pretty easy to take care of, just make sure they have plenty of food, water, and space. It’s the pond that’s the pain in the ass. We’re still getting the hang of keeping the biofilter happy and working.
