Agreed, one of my biggest issues with the app right now. If it were easier to click through to other communities, it would be much easier to find and join new ones.

I do always think about a scenario where the internet goes down for one reason or another. I’ve got houuuuuurs of content to keep me busy.

Lmfao yes. I love curating my collection, even if I don’t end up watching something for a loooong time.

Agreed, that’s what I’m hoping for. We can have algorithmic curation and discovery without the advertising fluff.

Yeah I’m trying to get accustomed to Mastodon. Having sort of the same issue I’m having here though - kinda difficult to find people/communities

My biggest issue is that it’s so difficult to see content from other instances. I understand it isn’t feasible for every instance to index everything that’s out there, but I definitely think we need a much better solution. I’m good with this stuff and it’s a pain in the ass for me, your typical social media user will not jump through these hoops.
