Hi! It’s hot as balls!

What happened to the Gulf Stream? I learnt in school that the Gulf Stream kept our temperatures in a nice moderate range. Why did I have to run the central heating for most of May, then 2 weeks later open all the windows and keep the fan on all night? Where has the Gulf Stream gone and how do we get it back?

In my experience the Oracle Always Free ARM A1 instances are really good. There’s nothing I’ve really struggled to run on it personally, but I’ve never opened anything up to the public.

However, as @ppp@lemmy.one said, Oracle tend to remove your instance without warning. You can mitigate this by “upgrading” to a paid account and adding your credit card info. As long as you stay within the free limits you’ll never be charged - but of course it is a risk! And they might still pull the rug anyway…

This looks cool - I like that you can flip between the different view modes (list, gantt, kanban) rather than having to go all in on one (kanban usually).

Agreed, I’ve run into lots of problems trying to get reverse proxies set up on paths, which disappear if you use a subdomain. For that reason I stick with subdomains and a wildcard DNS entry.
