Exactly. It doesn’t really matter who the candidate is - for a lot of people the cycle is to just elect someone from the other party every 8 years because the economy isn’t fixed.

“Longstanding policy” = what we did the last time this fucker was elected. There is no precedent for this, and the entire judicial branch shrugged and said “What are you going to do?”.

Hell, I want change too. So why would I elect the same dude again?

Yeah, it’s happening all over the world. AfD in Germany, for example, is gaining a lot of traction when last time they were dismissed as kooks. Not a coincidence that the world leaders excited about a Trump presidency are the usual suspects.

Ha no, I was annoyed that he only got 15-20 minutes because we looked absolutely dire despite the number of shots we got off and he could have done us absolutely no harm.

o Nwaneri got some minutes, he seemed pretty able to stand up physically to the Inter players, which is pretty impressive… in classic Ethan form, he was demanding the ball and had one decent switch to Martinelli that obviously didn’t pan out but I thought was a breath of fresh air.
o Havertz hopefully only has a concussion after that monster collision.
o Ode came on and seemed okay physically, and our press jumped to life as soon as he did.

They vote on what they think will benefit them now. But yes, they seem to have completely forgotten how terrible things were during his presidency. They just want something different, no matter what it is. If Darth Vader came down and said his new Death Star project was going to stimulate the economy, they’d vote for him.

This week is perhaps the worst week I’ve had in a while.
