I totally agree. Some of the most brilliant programmers alive use VSCode. Building my Neovim config has made me a better programmer, but I’m still a chimp with a waffle next to someone like JT.

I haven’t used it but you might be interested in stylix. I think once it’s setup it will automatically theme a lot of these apps for you.

It’s not problematic for me unless there is text or something with lots of contrast behind it. I used to play videos behind when I was on Plasma. The bold text helps a lot.

Yeah, btrfs is awesome and it’s easy to use with NixOS as well. The rollback mechanics are different in that Nix isn’t actually rolling back it’s just rebuilding a previous revision (commit) of the config.

If the audio is out of sync in your files you can use ffmpeg to fix them.
