Appreciate the heads up and your thoughtfulness for your users.

I hope Lemmy 0.18 is properly tested before release now that lots of users are using it

I have 2 accounts too and made a mistake entering beehaw one first, which blocked lemmy.world

A workaround I used is to delete the app and its data then reinstall

My bad I was not clear. The app is obviously at a very early stage and there are lots of missing functionality. I guess this is one of them and you can’t view saved posts yet.

I asked the dev and he said the app saved locally to the app data on your phone, cos the feature was coded before he knew Lemmy has the save (bookmark) functionality. Eventually I think it will be implemented. They are focusing on major features and bug fixes I believe

May ask the dev to do a PSA so people know

With how much information about your location/job/career/relationship with other professionals on LinkedIn, I would rather to have 1 company I can trust to handle data/security/privacy concerns

On LinkedIn at least your profile is not public for EVERYONE to see

I do hope fediverse will mature and reputable instances established. For now, I don’t think LinkedIn have any competitors, let alone better security/privacy. I do trust Microsoft in that regards than say Google/Facebook/Amazon, or any instance owners right now
