Every time VRchat gets more strict, more people flow to ChilloutVR. That’s where all the unoptimized avatars go and it’s laggy enough to make me sick.

I started on VRchat in 2020 and just before most of the kids made it there.

Public worlds used to be about 25% unsupervised kids and teens %50 adults and the other 25% were computer mutes. On Friday’s and other popular times it was 90% adults.

Today it’s 90% kids and teens in public lobbies and you’ll have to join the adults in private worlds. You’ll have to find these fellow adults everywhere but public VRchat worlds, mostly through discord servers.

ChilloutVR is the closest thing to what VRchat once was, but you’ll be sorely disappointed with it if you compare the two games together since they’re so different.

I saw forums when I was too young to understand it, and when I did get access to the Internet social media was in full swing. I feel like a lot of people have been in my position and now cry for what they didn’t know they lost.

No, there’s plenty of alcohol involved. It’s even a joke among some players that VRchat itself is a drinking game. Back when I played I joined a drinking group every Friday. It’s weird to see how people naturally remove their virtual clothes as they get more drunk.

Don’t give them ideas. They’ll have everyone and their mothers working in a private prison factory by winter!

They’ll steal your balls because work comes before relationships.

If you really want to jump through hoops, do it in VRchat. Their biggest worlds are movie worlds. I’ve spent a 1000 hours in that game just watching movies for free with friends.
