I think allot of Banks have a ton of assets tied up in commercial real estate. This is the real reason they are pushing everyone to go back to work. A lot of powerful people will loss money if the commercial real estate market crashes.

I think it was more that in the early days of the Nazi party they did accept socialists. It was more of a big tent party because they needed to attract members. Hitler was never a fan of socialism and as he gained power he purged the socialists from the party.

For now. The important thing is that there is an alternative place for people to go when Reddit does things they don’t like. Everytime Reddit does something that angers their users this place will grow.

It would be far easier to start a populist movement that reigned in corporations. The problem with revolutions is you never know who’s going to to end up on top at the end. Most likely the new regime will be just as bad as the old. I think what we actually need is more democracy. I like the idea of a democratic referendum that allows the people to force the government into action.
