It is impossible to have this conversation while still federated with them, because they’re so large that any votes to defederate will be heavily biased because of their influence. Temporarily defederate first, then have another discussion thread.

It doesn’t really work for comments though (it only places a content warning over them) which is 75% of the reason why hexbear is so horrible in the first place.

I really want people to start considering “woke” a slur. Its basically just a word the far right uses for people they don’t like, aka minorities.

I have definetly seen them causing trouble, especially with hexbear. Hexbear has many spambots and trolls, which can clog up comment sections, and both instances are very pro-Russia and pro-CCP.
