95% as soon as I unplugged it

This is normal for the Deck and is done to help extend battery life. Keeping a battery at 100% charge for extended periods accelerates its degredation. The Deck will charge to 100%, and you should see this if you immediately take it off the charger as soon as it finishes charging, but then lets it drain down to about 95% and maintain there if you just leave it plugged in.

Alvin is an incredible little vessel. I was fascinated by it as a kid. My grandfather had a book about the exploration of the Titanic, which featured Alvin (and the Jason Jr ROV) very prominently.

UI and UX are different, but related, things though. Anyone who conflates the two either doesn’t know what they’re talking about, or is at least being very unclear and mixing up words along the same lines as calling a PC tower the CPU.

And defederating/blocking them won’t stop that. This just blocks the consumption of and interaction with threads content. Threads will still be able to see content on those servers. In much the same way that Lemmy.world users can still see beehaw content, despite beehaw defederating.

Watts are amps * volts, so the conversion depends on the voltage. So for example 20000mAh at 5V is 100Wh.

Worth noting that the default isn’t 1GB. The default is “auto” and the Deck will try to dynamically adjust between more VRAM and more system RAM as needed.

This works fine for most games, but for some it helps if all 4GB is immediately visible without having to ramp up.

And if you have linter rules preventing any as a boundary type you just use Record<String, any>.

There are non-browser JavaScript implementations, the most well-known of which is node.js
