It’s a skill that some people apparently don’t have. Most are born with it, but too often don’t even try to use it. Especially against their own views.
Yes, I would too be very worried if I found that shit air pressure meter from my relatives jacket that they wear when biking. Those type tend to never work long and they are not very accurate in my experience. I would get her a better one.
Car. There’s really no alternative for me. I use the bicycle occassionally, but that’s mostly for fun and can hardly be used for my actual travel needs. By car, I can move anything in any weather.
It’s essential to deconstruct ones thought process to form better based beliefs. This could be taught in schools and would help everyone who internalizes this.

As I was browsing the wider fediverse today this came to my mind: Don’t appear too confident with your opinions. It leaves no room for others voice. This might not apply to internet, but in face-to-face it has been good.
People are more open to discuss and reason their thoughts. They are also more open to hear and see your reasons fairly. Discussion tends to lead to more understanding and promotes respect. It also leads a way to both parties to be closer the truth of matter discussed.
Listening to other options even in controversial strongly felt topics has helped me in adjusting my opinions. Often my opinion is strengthened, but with important insight and understanding of different reasoning. Sometimes I’ve had to abandon my previous assumption based on new information. And that is good.
Horde mentality and confrontional minds are poison to this and I don’t know if there’s any single right solution to these. But I believe striving for this is still the way to go.
TL;DR: appear and discuss at same level if possible
Another news of reduced food supply. With the Ukraine situation and various problems around the world the global food availibility was forecast to this over a year ago. Meanwhile my country has a lot of extra food producing capability but nothing was done to avert the rising food costs and scarcity. That’s the global markets and politics at work.
Without right to strike, there’s hardly anything to safeguard workers rights. In different countries the workplace availibility and options for moving to other workplace can be limited or nonexistent. Then the strikers personal economy should also be secured during the strike. The workers-company balance can exist. It just needs both parties to acknowledge where they need each other and discuss the situation when both parties are on fair ground.
This could go both ways. If the child-parent relationship is so bad, that the child could not disclose their thoughts to parents it might cause a conflict that benefits no one. It is also important to not withhold such thoughts to work it out.
I hate buying a new phone. I wish there were more alternatives for people who want functional ROMs with as free and open code as possible. At least the batteries will be replaceable soon.
