I am so annoyed that Twitter got ruined.

Don’t get me wrong. I don’t like Twitter. I don’t follow anyone on Twitter. But if I had no other recourse I could complain about a corporation that wasn’t paying any attention to me and they would do something about it.

By the way fuck FedEX. Is there a place on mastadon I can bitch about FedEx? I have had a mis-delivered package sitting on my porch for over a month. I call about every three or four days and tell them, pick up your package so it can go to the right place. They say they will get it. They never do.

Never use FedEx.

I am still active in several forums. They are great and have even more of a sense of community them they used to. People talk about the subject and even meet in person around the world.

I also host a forum for a different group. No ads either cause fuck that shit.

Ubuntu has caused me far more headaches and downtime than Arch. Go figure.

And to make this be a worthwhile comment: I wonder if it is because I use Arch (and derivatives) that Ubuntu causes issues. When something isn’t right, I try and fix it. In Arch I can. In Ubuntu it seems like a dozen paper cuts to get there and it may not work in the long run anyway. Oh the Snap doesnt have foo compiled in? No problem I can add it to the snap directory. No, that didnt work. Ok I will remove it and bring in a .deb file. Dependencies not met. Fine, I will compile it from source… and by that time I have wasted a TON of time.

Kind of balsy for a software company that is basically running a web page to replace office visits with a doctor…
