I too experience this bug. The top three posts on hot are 2 days old for me. I have read previpusly that there is a Lemmy bug related to sorting. I have been just sorting by top or new to fix this. Another possible option is to hide read posts on your settings, but I haven’t tried that.

I have two ideas. First, I haven’t had the jumps on Jerboa; I only see jumps using my browser. Second, I didnt see the jumps when sorting by top. I honestly still enjoy sorting by top as default, even on Jerboa.

I sort mainly by top of the day or new. I wish there were more time frames for the top category, but it is my current favorite. I sort by new a lot because most posts seem to be interesting and it has been a great way to find new communities.
