Dechert became enraged, yelling that climate change was a hoax while Haden-Guest called him insane. In a bizarre turn, Dechert punctuated his remarks by loudly farting while yelling “I’m farting!” to underscore his point. Kennedy remained calm throughout the commotion. Though Dechert apologized for his flatulence, he remained unapologetic about his climate change views. Despite their argument, Haden-Guest said he was sure he and Dechert would talk again.
