With TN reminding me that YNTCD is 3 years old, how would you say it has aged? Are you happy Taylor spoke out, does it still work for pride month with her relative silence now? What do you think?

It’s a fun bop, but not the first song I think of when it comes to pride. While I love Tay’s music, it does feel a little less genuine, and performative. Lover feels like ages ago, though. Isn’t YNTCD 4 years old, not 3?

Oh damn, I was wrong with the year.

Yeah that’s how I feel, it meant a lot when it first came out, but the lack of continuing substance makes it feel a bit cheaper. Not standing up for lgtbq on her tour especially, the silence has been disappointing to me honestly

Some basic guidelines:

  • Posts should be about Taylor Swift
  • Criticism of Taylor is fine, but open trolling or low effort posts like “Her music sux” will be removed.
  • Downvote trolling is actively monitored. Downvotes are enabled and welcome, but if all that you do is downvote, it will result in bans. Join the discourse, if you don’t like this community feel free to block it. Admins have the ability to see votes by user, and we use that ability here.
