Again, I really hope you can see how your logic works in reverse. In so far as all Palestinians are guilty, all Israelis are as well.

Propaganda can really cook a brain, eh?

From my perspective, we’ve got two rogue terrorist organizations murdering civilians en mass - one much more well funded and more effective at slaughter than the other.

The IDF isnt a rogue organization, its the military arm of the elected Israeli government. Also Palestine hasn’t had an election since 2006 so 18 years ago. Notably older than all of the children the IDF is bombing, and hardly representative of the rest of Palestine.

Man you sure aren’t addressing any of their points, are you? Just keep dodging the subject, I’m sure you’ll get away with it eventually…

Propaganda is when someone starts with a conclusion and stops thinking there.

Then we have two popular government organizations murdering civilians en mass - one much more well funded and more effective at slaughter than the other. The logic still must hold in reverse, no?

Cool, so when Fuckface 45 was president, all things his fault were all also the fault of each of the 330 million Americans?

Fucking troll.

You’re saying 80% of the entire population of the US; counting those who didn’t or couldn’t vote (for myriad reasons: suppression, age, disability, abstaining, etc.) and those who voted for Hilary…they are all equally as responsible as the mere 20% who did vote for Fuckface 45, AND his actions?

Nah man, that’s literally brain dead thinking. This might be the dumbest fucking statement I’ve read on the Internet in years. It sounds more like a parroted “opinion”, rather than a conclusion based on logic.

Because then you get to keep the same mentality for Gaza, instead of realizing that maybe it’s not as black and white as that. You’d have to stop and think about that, but you don’t want to.

Because thinking is scary. It’s hard. And it shows how gray the world really is, and that terrifies you. You NEED to hide behind this kind of thinking, because you can’t handle an uncertain world.

Sorry, the world is not black and white. It’s very uncertain, and sooner or later, that reality is gonna bite you in the ass real fucking hard.

Hope you’re prepared.

In this war the Israelis/IDF are the Nazis in control of Palestine from the outside, and Hamas are the Nazis in control inside Palestine. Palestinians are victims (not necessarily entirely innocent), but also not really given another option either. Palestinians are largely controlled by Hamas and everything is controlled by Israel, and both see Palestinians as pawns and human shields/targets.

For the sake of discussion, I’ll ignore the fact that even if the Palestinian neighbours knew about the hostages and went to the IDF, they’d probably be tortured/killed just in case. So choosing not to alert the IDF isn’t necessarily support for Hamas, and could very well be an aversion to the IDF bombing and executing the shit out of your neighbours.

The best way to survive is being invisible, and I wouldn’t blame someone for wanting to be invisible when the city they live in is a cage/prison that is being bombed to hell and both armies are very happy to kill Palestinians.

Don’t forget unending Israeli oppression.

Of the two parties, Israel is far and away the biggest threat, because that’s how the country was designed from the ground up.

(Akin to how the US is still a slave state, because of how it’s run, and how it was built from the ground up)

Erm, Germany has paid for the actions of the nazis, and many of those on top were trialed and jailed. Germany has paid lots of reparations as well, and monuments were erected. Nazi guilt is also very much present in the German culture and history. Can’t wait to see the same happening with Israel… I won’t hold my breath.

West Germany did not pay “lots” of reparations, far from it. It was pumped with money through the Marshall Plan, and Volkswagen & Hugo Boss are still around.

Very few West German Nazis went to trial or were jailed. Many were placed in prominent positions in the new government and the governments of other NATO countries and in NATO itself.

.

The reason things played out that way is pretty straightforward: fascism is compatible with capitalism, and communism is incompatible with both. The Western capitalist states were more motivated to destroy communism than fascism, and they were happy to use fascism as a weapon against communism.

Or maybe Hamas are the Jews, but turns out the Jews in this analogy has big modern guns.

Or many comparing the two to nazis is just a bad comparison?
