When i was young I thought my mom’s colorful decor was ridiculous. Now I’m old and my kids think I’m ridiculous for wanting colorful everything. Is that a thing?

Don’t take this too personally, but I started liking brighter colors when I began to notice their effects on my mood and to manage mild depression, especially seasonal moodiness.

This is some good wisdom. I’m pushing half a century, depression since my teens. Wearing and having color around hits my brain in the right places.
