I don’t know, he’s spiraling hard. This might be them wanting to show America how he acts. He will no doubt say weird stuff and make a fool of himself. It also opens the door for Harris to interrupt him as well, which I don’t see him handling well. I think this is a solid move honestly.

I don’t they’d mind either outcome, I think they have a solid play they can run in either event:
- Muted mics - “Trump’s own team thinks he can’t manage to act presidential for 90 minutes!”
- Unmuted mics - “Look at all these clips of Trump not acting presidential during our debate!”
