The hive thing was originally popularized by “bey-hive” for Beyonce I believe. Then some Kamala supporters used “k-hive” and then they did “b-hive” for Biden. Really it wasn’t even Beyonce fans that did it first, they just did it the loudest
I don’t understand why people would want to give themselves a name that alludes to being part of to a borg-like hivemind of insects that live solely to serve their ‘royalbred’ betters; but then again I’ve never been one to identify with ‘fandoms’ in general.
