She’s cool. She has a moment of lapse when she endorsed Obama’08, the only politician she ever endorsed, but then she said she’s pretty disappointed with him.

“In some ways I’m disappointed, but in some ways it was silly to expect more. If he had taken his brilliance, his eloquence, his toughness and not run for office he could have led a movement. Once he got in the Oval Office he couldn’t do anything.”

She has a bit of soft-lib in her (e.g., she likes Michael Moore), and certainly is not a red blooded comrade. But she’s still pretty cool in her 60 years history of activism and standing up for justice.
