I don’t think I’ve seen genuine fear much at all, except for that one black guy who was threatened with hanging in some old sundown town around Nevada/California some weeks ago. Everyone around seemed perfectly fine with it, maybe even willing to help, should the old man want to seize him and actually hang him.
I don’t think Americans really imagine it getting there. They think the white boys with still be holding eachother back, but the reality is that the bleeding heart kind will be sitting at home or something, he won’t be your pathetic white savior standing between the psychos and their catch.
If Harris wins, there won’t be much more of that, but if Trump wins it’ll start happening a lot more, and the decades coming after will be blown wide open in terms of how bad things can get.
