This was scary to me as a young guy learning Linux 30 years ago. Turns out it’s not reporting to anyone. :)

It in fact is reportet to the system admin. In that case you.

It’s in a journalctl log (i think location is depending on distro)

Maybe if you have a local mail server set up on the system? Otherwise no way to report. :)

Otherwise it goes to your /var/mail I believe. Sadly they merged commit lately that removes this message

It just printed into the system logs on my arch install(although this was a few installs ago… could’ve changed)
