I grew up forced to go to church and this is pretty literally a core point of the pastor’s sermon multiple times. He told a story about someone trapped on their roof during a hurricane and was offered rescue by three different means but refused each citing God. The story ended like the punchline here.
I don’t really have a point to this, but I wanted to share.
Yeah most memes from this community that I see in All aren’t atheist, they’re just not fundamentalist.
Because most of us wouldn’t have a problem with religion if it would just stay in it’s fucking lane.
I honestly think religion shouldn’t be allowed in public outside of designated areas. Keep your bullshit in your own home or in church. No one outside of those places gives a fuck

Religion is like a penis. It’s fine to have one. It’s fine to be proud of it. But don’t whip it out in public and start waving it around. And DO NOT try to shove it down my or my children’s thoats.
