I was also considering ps5, but with Sony doing a delayed PC launches there really aren’t that many exclusives to draw me in, since most of them end up on the PC. The only one I really want to play is Bloodborne, but I’m not buying a Playstation for that. I’ll just wait until they remaster it and port it to PC.
And it’s not like I don’t have an ever increasing backlog of games to play. I was fine without PS games and I’ll be fine with getting them on discount.
If it is for you then that’s great, but for me I didn’t even finish GOW so I don’t really have any interest in Ragnarok and Spiderman wouldn’t be up that high in my list of must plays that I would have to get a PS. Like I said, my backlog is huge so I can easily wait for a PC port and probably even a discount. Just to give a list of what games are still waiting in my backlog in roughly the order I’m going to play through them.
- System Shock reboot
- Warhammer 40k Boltgun
- Final Fantasy Crisis Core
- Doom Eternal
- Sable
- Everspace 2
- Guardians of the galaxy
- Outward
- Citizen Sleeper
- Hades
And in addition there will be games I will be playing when they release, like Starfield, Stalker 2, Space Marine 2 and Hollow Knight: Silksong (assuming it does release within the next year). And then I’ll also get to add some future discounted games to my backlog like Hogwarts Legacy, Jedi survivor, Final Fantasy 16 etc.
There are far more games I want to play that aren’t PS exclusives.
