Am I the only one to think it’s rather strange that you get redirected to csam.be when logging in to a Belgian government website using your electronic ID? Really, didn’t they bother to do a quick Google search to see what CSAM stands for?

Pretty sure it’s a play on the word sesame, as in open sesame… and in belgium « csam » as the acronym for child material isn’t used a lot - check the google trends from the country and chances are it’s not relevant…

That may very well be the case. However, Belgium is just a small country in a very big world where the use of English is quite common. For instance, the European Commission launched a proposal last year on CSAM. One would think that would trigger a ‘Houston, we have a problem’-vibe somewhere…
