Well, as a North Sea dwelling individual, I would be one of those millions breathing the ash clouds and being affected. Not really sure what you know about Icelandic volcanos but thankfully deaths are rare and disruptions to air travel are typically the main consideration:

Well, I’m glad it’s not as devastating as I thought. I’m just sick and tired of the selfish, entitled trash in this world not giving a damn about anything but their vacations and nail appointments and stock options. Anyway, stay safe up there! Your country is very pretty from what I’ve seen and I’d love to visit it some day.
Just to be clear, I live in continental Europe and not Iceland.
As other have pointed out, Iceland very much depends on both tourism and their national airline IcelandAir. People in those sectors will certainly be affected much worse than me.
I don’t deny being selfish but my comment was just trying to point out one of the main concerns, in a cheeky way.
