A neuromorphic supercomputer called DeepSouth will be capable of 228 trillion synaptic operations per second, which is on par with the estimated number of operations in the human brain

It’s to study how the brain works by simulating it. There’s been a lot of cool advances in AI architecture that can conceivably tell us a lot about brain function

I’ve been reading up a lot on how neuroscience is turning to AI to better understand brain function and it is super cool
