So it’s a battle for white supremacy as we all thought. They fear nothing more than a world dictated by non-whites. The thing is that even if Ukraine loses, it’s not like the EU and US still won’t be superpowers with a lot of sway. They’ll just be sharing that status with more countries than they’re used to.

they also equate a world NOT dictated by whites to a world dictated by non-whites.
the middle ground where actual diplomacy happens, that doesnt occur to them. because the west has entirely forgotten how to do diplomacy. they make demands, throw tantrums, and then start wars.
