Hey everyone, I’ve been excited for the pixel 8 lineup for quite a while and followed every leak that came through. And now that pre-orders come bundled with a watch, I’m really tempted to place one. But here in the UK, the prices feel especially crushing. So my question is, is it worth getting this bundle now or wait for a sale later.
P.S. I’m using a Rog phone now which has long been orphaned by Asus. I was hoping to switch to a supported device soon.
Always wait a couple months after a release.
I’ve pre ordered the Pixel 8 (with free ear buds pro) I’m coming from a pixel 5 which is now EOL as it won’t be getting any security updates. Look on Carphone warehouse for the cheapest options, ID are significantly cheaper than the competition (and carphone warehouse seem to be cheaper than going direct)
You should wait. The pixel line have been notorious for quality issues in the first run. There have been a number of class action suits about it.
If you either want the accessoires or can sell them for close to the retail price it’s a good deal.
The prices are really high, I hope it gets better when Black Friday arrives. Else I guess I’ll have to get the 7.
