People speedrun installing Linux. Is that a video game?

Anything can be a game if you want but your game should pause the timer during loading screens or people running NVMe will have an unfair advantage over those with HDDs.

Picross is my life whenever a new one comes out on the switch. Hope they bring back the 3D picross at some point, those were a neat change, and I think the current gen of games have kinda stagnated :(

Picross 3d round 2 is legit one of my favorite games of all time. It’s so insanely good it is criminal they haven’t made another 3d one

I love nonogram type games. Nonogram Katana on Android has a lot of really cool user created puzzles.

I second Nonogram Katana! You can also play in the browser, but there’s seriously soooo many puzzles to do.

And if that isn’t enough of a game for some people, there’s a whole guild system of resources and upgrades. Not to mention a dungeon mini-RPG they added in the last year

I love Picross! It’s so relaxing, but I haven’t played in a while due to my 3DS power button being broken.

Not that Picross isn’t a game, but there are speedruns of Microsoft Excel. I’m not convinced something having a speedrun proves it’s status as a game.

But excel is a game.
