K’bin sounds like a Klingon name.

I thought in Klingon they pronounced those kind of names like Kay-bin

I don’t think Klingon has a K’ anywhere, in fact in Klingon it would be written “Q” and followed by some vowel, like in Qapla’ or in Qi’yaH

Non-native speaker here. I get kay-bin, but how are you supposed to say k’bin?

The K has got to be a silent one. This place is 'bin!
