i took texas as a beachhead to invade the U.S. to force recognition as a great power, which I’ll do as soon as I get my munitions plants up and running :^]

and the very first thing I did was build a university there to educate the savages

Serious question: I started playing Victoria 3 a couple of days ago and I’m still learning.

How do you turn Persia to socialism? The landowners and religious folk are very much in control so whenever I attempted to kick them out change some laws, they up in arms immediately.

You just gotta build factories and shit to get more of your population to become machinists and stuff like that to increase the relative clout of the industrialists and trade unions. It takes a while.

Also Persia seems to be in a really shitty starting position, i like to play as the sikh empire and vassalize them asap because the Sikhs start with line infantry (but you need to take Afghanistan for their iron)

This actually turned out badly for me because i took too long getting my munitions plants running + military switched over from line infantry so the Americans attacked me first and it turns out sending my entire army to Texas puts me at like -3000 convoys

So when are we going to have a Hexbear Vicky 3 multiplayer campaign where we dismantle the west and establish communism?
