So a monovalent booster should not wane in effectiveness as the bivalent?

I think it’s just that the bivalent booster was targeting (a) an extinct variant and (b) a different Omicron subvariant. This will target some form of Omicron XBB, I think, which has been the dominant strain for months now.

I remember the very first Covid shot making it feel as though my arm was kicked by Chuck Norris. Super sore. The boosters weren’t so bad. I’ll get another jab if it means not catching Covid or just having mild symptoms.
