I live in a swing state and I will not be voting for Genocidal Joe next time around. I’ve always taken the approach that voting is the least we can do to try to bring about change in the world and have held my nose and voted for the “lesser of two evils” each and every time. But there is no greater evil in the world than supporting an actually existing genocide, both rhetorically and materially. I think libs don’t realize that Bernie, WAS the compromise and look at how much of a disappointment he has been on this issue. No more compromises, no more concessions, and we will not apologize
I hear conspiracy theories about the US elite sacrificing children to Moloch or whatever and it does kind of make me wonder, do they actually do that? Just not directly, but like, do they actually push for civilian casualties as a form of human sacrifice do some dark unspeakable god?
In terms of some weird religious cult thing? Eh, I doubt it.
If you want to be figurative about money/capital being their dark god, then yes. They would sacrifice their firstborn for a big enough paycheque.
