I mean Batman is still fit and trained in fighting so it’s likely you’re not even at his ability (not judging anyone I’m nowhere near close myself haha)

That’s the joke lol. Batman doesn’t have any superpowers and Spiderman doesn’t have any money.
It’s gone back and forth a few times. I think in the comics he’s currently moderately successful. But that does tend to change quickly.
For decades, Spider-Man had to make a living selling selfies to someone who absolutely hated him. Peter Parker wasn’t even directly employed by Jamison, he was an independent contractor.
The MCU version had him start off as Ironman’s protégé, and now he’s poor and unknown thanks to Dr Strange holding the idiot ball.
Kind of like George Costanza.
