“i’m done” just means that i really cannot play the game anymore to the point where i’d actually go insane if i continue.

Congrats on making it to the credits on Nier! What did you think of the game?

It almost made me cry lol. Only 3 games have made me that emotional: omori, Zelda totk, and now nier. What an amazing experience it was tho.

Right there with you, the thing at the end really got me. I’ve been getting the itch to do another run, the combat was just so much fun imo

Yeah I agree. I’ll probably revisit it in a year or two so its fresh. I had my save data deleted after I finished the game because I really wanted to see if they were bluffing at the end (they were not) lmao.

For MGSV if you haven’t cheated yet I suggest it just for the money at least. Download a cheat table and run cheat engine. I don’t like the base building parts of games so I just blew through that by giving myself all the money.

That way I can just do the mission parts of the game without caring what is going on at mother base.

i’ll keep my save cheat free until i decide if the building is working for me or not. if not i’ll consider useing a cheat. when i played last i don’t remember getting to mother base. i think i got to the first objective and stopped playing iirc.

I only have a few hours a week to play so I like to make the most of my time by playing the fun parts. If a game is single player then cheating let’s me enjoy the little time I have to play it without grinding.

That’s a small backlog. Do you have more not listed?

I have a bunch categorized by whether or not I want to do the achievements or not before considering it done, and also if multiple playthroughs are planned or not and why.

I’m also mentally deranged…

i’ve 100% a few games but you’re on a totally different level. i really struggle with dark soul like games so it will be interesting to see how far i get before i eventually give up.

I find it’s more about patience than anything else. It’s very much an observe the pattern and adjust accordingly kind of gameplay. Also resource (stamina/health) management. I actually couldn’t finish any of them until I had gotten dragged into fighting games by friends that play competitively. Seeing that people could actually adjust their actions on the fly at such ridiculous speeds made me realize I was just button mashing all along. It’s also what made some of the more technical metroidvania games make sense to me.

My achievement showcase was just me going insane while having nothing better to do when I was off work with an injury though…

I’d recommend pushing through on Undertale. I have 19 hours played and I did all runs/endings. The first playthrough is probably under 6 hours total. One of the most memorable games I’ve ever played.

Yeah I plan on finishing undertale after I finish doom since I’m probably much closer to finishing that than I am undertale
