“i’m done” just means that i really cannot play the game anymore to the point where i’d actually go insane if i continue.
That’s a small backlog. Do you have more not listed?
I have a bunch categorized by whether or not I want to do the achievements or not before considering it done, and also if multiple playthroughs are planned or not and why.
I’m also mentally deranged…
i’ve 100% a few games but you’re on a totally different level. i really struggle with dark soul like games so it will be interesting to see how far i get before i eventually give up.
I find it’s more about patience than anything else. It’s very much an observe the pattern and adjust accordingly kind of gameplay. Also resource (stamina/health) management. I actually couldn’t finish any of them until I had gotten dragged into fighting games by friends that play competitively. Seeing that people could actually adjust their actions on the fly at such ridiculous speeds made me realize I was just button mashing all along. It’s also what made some of the more technical metroidvania games make sense to me.
My achievement showcase was just me going insane while having nothing better to do when I was off work with an injury though…
Thats a long list
THAT’s a long list? I have more unplayed titles INSTALLED than this whole spreadsheet. I once attempted to create a system to organize my backlog but just gave up due to volume. I think I may have a game hoarding problem.
everyone’s circumstances are different. to them it might be a long list but to you it might be short. one thing is for certain tho is they take a lot of hours to complete. anyway if you want help starting i’d suggest picking a handful of games from your library like between 5 to 10 and just play through them one by one. putting my phone on the other side of the room helped since sometimes i would just pick it up and do nothing of any value on it. also having some self dicipline and not opening your browser helps as well. at the end of the day it’s up to you how you want to tackle it (if you even want to tackle it at all) it’s not even really a big problem to have.
i forgot to mention because i have a smooth brain but these are games i have already bought but never played.
Why not use backloggd?
i had never heard about this service till you mentioned it. it looks neat. i think i’ll continue using the spreadsheet method since i have it already. however once i finish the rest of these games i’ll take another look at it. you never know i might have picked up another bunch of games during a future steam sale
Zelda 3 == ALttP?
