[It] underscores the potential of past and often forgotten technologies and how they can inform sustainable energy practices.
Quality insightful articles about low and high tech in a pragmatic way with a strong emphasize on environmentalism. The whole website itself is hosted on a 100% solar-powered device in Spain!
They also have a podcast!
It’s a really cool website, but people have shared it basically every other week here already ;)
It’s such a nice website, not surprising many people like it! However, I specifically search for other posts on Solarpunk@slrpnk.net containing this URL and didn’t got any results, thus my post. I probably did the search poorly… Sorry for the repost. ><
Kind of shows we need some kind of wiki for this kind of sites and other basic stuff.
Doesn’t look like this is coming to Lemmy, see: https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/issues/2959
It mentions a work-around with text posts, but those are only editable by the OP, which is not so great for a community wiki.
It should be possible to link an external Dokuwiki to the Lemmy user-database though and create ACL for groups according to the moderator membership. I have been thinking about setting this up, but right now it seems not really worth the effort, with the side-bar of Lemmy communities being able to hold the basic stuff reasonably well.
… Edit: you just mentioned Dokuwiki, how did I miss that? If you would like help with the Dokuwiki I’m in.
