Without Reddit killing these APIs and the particularly big post from Apollo just recently I wouldn’t be here! Still trying to learn how to navigate smoothly and such but it’s kinda exciting starting on something fresh, I was already tiring of Reddit

First announced casualty of the reddit api fiasco. Sync was the only acceptable way to browse reddit and without killing time on the internet won’t be the same.
I agree, I wish he’d just move to Lemmy, sync was the perfect reddit app.
A developer is currently working on a drop in api to replace the existing api url in those 3rd party apps. Might be a good idea to ask the devs to add a option to let us change the api url on our own.
