He clearly didnāt forget about it, or else he wouldnāt have been able to write the green text
His very premise is faulty!
This greentext is probably fake, but as someone dealing with memory loss and brain fog, I feel that I need to speak up about the last line.
Itās jarring to see people comment on how saying āforgot two weeks laterā makes everything a lie. āForgetā and āpermanently forgetā are two different things. With memory loss, some memories can feel like a book that randomly checks out and checks into the library.
Had a buddy in the early 2000s that had memory loss. Before GPS this dude wouldnāt remember north from south but when his memory clicked he was able to navigate the entire Washington DC area with no problems. It was very interesting.
Yeah that actually sounds about right. Memory loss is often like having a word on the tip of your tongue but the word is an entire decade of your life or your partnerās phone number or anything you know you should know but you just canāt get at.
This is what happens to my 80-year-old dad as he declines mentally. He starts conversations and then itās like he forgets what words to use. Itās incredibly frustrating, especially for him. He knows what he wants to say, gets into it, then thereās a āfile not foundā moment that derails him.
He even forgot that you are not allowed to lie on the internet
Fake: anon has a gf
Gay: anon got drafted for the military
Is this the plot of The Notebook?
