Hope it isn’t: Announcement for an announcement, announcement of a future show halfway across the world (a lower third and a 10sec commentary mention more than suffices), the very unlikely rumour that Rossy Ogawa is partnering with TK for funding for his upcoming joshi venture cause I wouldn’t trust Tony to not fuck up Neo Stardom™
Hard disagree on the future show announcement. If, like it was for All In, a major show for a major AEW market, then it deserves a major announcement, not a brief throwaway. You want to sell lots of tickets to shows like that you have to start by making them seem like a big deal.
edit: not that I think a foreign show is the likely announcement :)
I’m with everyone in saying I think it’s Mercedes. I’m worried it’s gonna be an announcement for a Boston show though because that would mean we’re month+ away from her showing up. Just get her on screen already, damnit.

Whether it’s Mercedes or Okada (why not both?) I think that’s how it should be done. Let them come out to save a future ally to a HUGE pop and then when the segments over cut to TK’s announcement, which can be something like, “See that awesome free agent? Well guess who just signed them!”
veda scott signing, a new women’s japanese/american tournament, and a tjpw/stardom/aew sister show to forbidden door, and a new summer/fall long women’s, tag team, and men’s round robin world cup of wrestling with groups and wrestlers (signed, unsigned, and from other promotions) from all over the world because i can dream :)
