That there looks like your ordinary Dekay’s Brown Snake. Not to be confused with the Eastern Brown Snake of Australia, which is a highly venomous danger noodle. The brown snake you found is pretty harmless, it’ll stink you with its anal glands if you try to handle it. Just let the cute little snek do its thing.
