The tense relationship between Wagner PMC and the Russian MoD (particularly given Defense Minister Shoigu’s cozy relationship with Wagner competitor Patriot PMC) continues to be a thorn in the side of this campaign from the perspective of any intellectually-honest observer.
It was a mistake to allow mercenary groups and their accompanying corruption to thrive in the Russian Federation.
Prigozhin’s TG was hacked, Russian MoD confirmed this.
The charge for against Prigozhin instigating a coup appears to be correct, TASS has verified this.
A largescale disinfo campaign is underway throughout TG.
When I learn anything else solid I will update.
UPDATE: I was mistaken, the Russian MoD is not saying Prigozhin’s account was hacked, but that the information being displayed on it when referring to the video and audio messages accusing the Russian Forces of attacking Wagner, are fake. They have not confirmed that Prigozhin has been hacked, there was a translation error.

UPDATE #3 FINAL: Putin gave an emergency speech just now, in it he stated Prigozhin is a traitor and will be held accountable, that Russian troops and anti-terrorist mechanisms have been given their orders, and that Rostov will be decisively resolved. We will see how many Wagner remain loyal and how far this goes…

This sounds like either some blackop where Prigozhin is involved, he selling out, or something, it would make no sense for Russia to attack Wagner and I hope that Wanger’s soldiers stay put and act accordingly.
The video showing the supposed shelled Wagner base looks super fake and I don’t think that happened, but I don’t think this whole thing is fake like people on TG say

The whole thing as in there is something happening, just not the Russian army shelling Wagner forces. That part seems fake, but not Wagner doing something and the government reacting. Because people unironically believe all of it is a psyop. The messages by TASS, Peskov, FSB, the generals, Prigozhin - all fake to idk “troll the Ukrainians” or something.
Allegedly the root of the issue is a conflict over catering for the Army, and related income.
Edit: Then there is a fairly informative 29+ min video by the man himself, giving his reasons. It is available only in Russian as far as I am aware.
