In Japan there’s a list of houses called “Jiko Bukken”, which is mostly properties where there has been a unnatural death.
Japanese law obligates the real estate company to tell upfront if that’s the case, hence why such list exists.
In most cases, these places are incredibly cheap, as in 1/4 of the price.
That said, it is technically a poor investment instrument and it will probably be hard getting a loan because of it.

Every house that’s more than a few decades old has had people die inside it. The US is young enough that it seems rare (though probably isn’t), but in any country that’s been lived in for many hundreds of years all their old houses have had multiple people die in them.
