Apparently Reddit is now preventing people to anonymously browse NSFW posts in the browser. Instead they invite you to download the app.

I’m pretty sure this has been around for at least a little while. I’m not visiting reddit today, but you can bypass this with old.reddit right?

We can still clown on reddit for them saying “Wait, you have to verify your age by signing in! …but we can let it slide if you get the app, pretty please?” 🤡🤡🤡

I think they’ve been doing it for a while. I also get redirected to download the Reddit app for SFW posts on SFW subs, bc Reddit insists it’s so mature.

they keep pushing users to use the reddit official app instead of improving it.

Do they not realize how absolute trash their app and website are? I would have stopped using Reddit a long time ago if it wasn’t for 3rd party.
