Idk your thoughts and opinions on this but any new run I always do it first just to get it out of the way. There’s just too much I have to do, I have to collect two prosthetics, I have to fight the mini boss along with about ten enemies, Lady Butterfly is okay but I’m bored of fighting her.
I don’t hate the area and I like the way the fog represents recollection of memories, the rain is nice too, also the music. It’s just too much to get through and it makes me want to quit a new run whenever I do it.
Lady butterfly hurt me emotionally to get through. “It seems you’re still a puppy”
I tend to do it bit by bit. I’ll just get the flame tube before the ogre and then come back later to do a bit more. Trying to do the whole thing in one go kills the pacing of the rest of the game
From needs to do another game without fast travel, or at least none for most of the game. Nothing has quite paralleled pre-lordvessel DS1 for me
