They had such an opportunity to mention that politician!
Headline reminds me of the Uvalde cops trying to stop the mom from going in to rescue her kids while they sat scared,
“Ma’am, ma’am! Leave them alone so I can not go in to rescue them, ma’am!!!”
Uvalde was certainly a clusterfuck, but the “cops scared” narrative isn’t quite the truth, much more to it.

“Isn’t quite” is vague, what do you mean exactly?
“They took our jobs!”
Was he going to shoot the dogs or the immigrants?
