Trump reported millions in negative income in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2020, and he paid only $750 in federal income taxes in 2016 and 2017.
Prior to the numbers being released I had been telling my co-workers that I had paid more in taxes than Trump for the past decade at least and they all thought I was joking. I wasn’t. And I was right.

Details: In 2022, a release of some of Donald Trump’s tax returns by the House Ways and Means Committee showed that he filed federal income tax returns for the years 2015 through 2020. According to the report, Trump paid $641,931 in federal income tax in 2015; $750 in both 2016 and 2017; and $133,445 in 2019. He paid no federal income tax in 2020, the report found.
Before becoming president in 2016, Trump declined to disclose his tax returns. A 2022 New York Times article reported that he had paid no income taxes in 10 of the 15 previous years.
I have a low-to-mid income in Russia and I pay more taxes (converted into dollars) directly from my income each year while considering a full plate meal for two at KFC is a bit too fancy for my family budget to have it once a week. That’s just for scale.
Walz just keeps getting burned that puts him on top.
