For me it’s This Week In Google.

I listen to it every week and between new episodes I listen to the archival episodes I haven’t heard yet.

Knowledge Fight. Keeps me up-to-date on the right-wing grifter-sphere. Wacky Wednesday episodes were the best when they’d listen to Project Camelot or Jim Bakker. Equal parts SMH and LOL :) Long live the Bachelor Squatch!

Limetown is one i revisit from time to time. SAYER used to be this, but after they decided to continue the series I kinda lost interest.

  • Judge John Hodgeman
  • We Got This with Mark and Hal
  • My Brother, my Brother, and Me

Have no continuous throughlines and can be listened to in any order. They’re fun to listen to, and nice to have on as background noise.

I’ve re-listened to these several times.

  • The Thrilling Adventure Hour is a stage play that lasted 15 years in LA and survives as an occasional road show and live streamed show. They are in the style of old-time radio. My favorite segment is Sparks Nevada: Martial on Mars!
  • SPONTANEANATION with Paul F. Tompkins is extremely good improv comedy with many comedians you know or whose voices you’ll recognize. Every episode is different!
  • One Shot: Campaign: Star Wars is a tremendously funny and collaboratively-chaotic Star Wars TTRPG actual play.

Technically its an audio drama but I love The Magnus Archives.

The Fall of Civilizations is a banger as well if you like history but I don’t go back and listen to this one
